Disembarking from the ship in the fjord-side town of Olden by the mountain lake Oldevatnet, you will begin your journey through the land of picturesque mountain lakes and fjords formed by melting glaciers during the Ice Age.

First, you will visit the village of Loen by Lake Lovatnet. We recommend taking the Loen Skylift cable car to the top of Mount Hoven, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the fjord, mountain lakes and glaciers. At the top, there is a modern panoramic restaurant where you can have a bite and a cup of coffee.

Next, you will travel through a picturesque valley leading to the Briksdalsbreen Glacier. In Briksdal you will buy a ticket with one of the “Troll Cars”, which will take you up to the glacier along a scenic road and a bridge over a glacial waterfall. After a stop and rest at the glacier you will return by Troll Car.

Return to Olden.
