On the North Fjord and Geirangerfjord: Travelling from Måløy
Disembarking the ship in the fishing town of Måløy on Norway's west coast, you will travel along the extensive Nordfjord and Lake Hornindalsvatnet, the deepest lake in Europe.
Upon arrival in the cosy village of Hellesylt, you will embark ona cruise through the famous Geirangerfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most beautiful fjords in the world. From the ship's deck, you will admire “the Seven Sisters” and “the Suitor” waterfalls and see dairy farms on the fjord's emerald shores.
Upon arrival in Geiranger you will be treated to a series of stunning views from various viewpoints above the fjord, including the Eagle's Road, Flydalsjuvet and Dalsnibba, the last of which has snow that doesn't melt even in summer! The bravest can take a short walk along the SkyWalk trail at the edge of the cliff.
Return to Måløy via a scenic mountain route, passing through the mountain serpentine of the Gamle Strynefjellsvegen.

Viewpoints:
- Eagle Road – is the name given to the steepest stretch of road up the mountain side from Geiranger towards Eidsdal. It was called Eagle Road because at its highest point it passed through terrain that had traditionally been the domain of a large number of eagles.
- Flydalsjuvet offers an impressive view and is an excellent point for photography, with a view over Geiranger and Geirangerfjorden.
- Dalsnibba viewpoint offers Europe’s highest fjord views - at 1,500 metres. Enjoy amazing views of Geirangerfjord and snow-capped mountains.
