Our captain will carefully watch and inform you of any whale overboard. It's not always possible to spot an orca or humpback whale right away, but our guides have some great tricks for spotting them. While we look for whales, our enthusiastic guides will share their personal stories about Tromsø and the sights that can be seen from the fjords. Of course, a whale watching tour would not be complete without an abundance of information about orcas and humpback whales.

As soon as whales are spotted, we switch to our electric and silent motor to minimise disturbance to the whales.
Our dedicated whale watching boat is equipped with comfortable warm lounges with panoramic windows, so you'll have a front row seat to whale watching wherever you are. A bar and restaurant with a wide range of food and beverage options are available on board.

The journey starts in Tromsø. Departure from the city at 08:00. The destination is a whale-watcher's dream, a feeding ground for orcas and humpback whales. The boat arrives just in time to enjoy the few hours of polar daylight that the winter season in Tromsø affords us. On the way to the whale watching site, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Tromsø's fjords and the frozen landscapes of the Arctic fjords aboard the hybrid-electric boat.

2. Please bring warm clothing such as woollen clothing. Our voyage takes place in Arctic waters and it can be cold outside our heated lounges.

3. Please note that the duration of this tour depends on the location of the whales and can range from 8 to 9 hours. Whale activity periods vary from year to year, but usually fall between November and January. Our team makes every effort to find whales, but we cannot guarantee one hundred per cent whale sightings.

4. Dogs and cats are welcome on board as long as they are on a lead and you are not disturbing other guests.
